My ex’s narcissism not only destroyed me and my life at that time, but the storm continued before me into the future. Even now, 21 yrs after our divorce, I feel the chill and hear the wind howling outside if I think of him. I’m still trying to put myself back together. “Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall. Humpty Dumpty had a great fall. All the king’s horses and all the king’s men couldn’t put Humpty together again.” I feel like that. All the therapists and psychiatrists and psychotropic meds can’t put me together again.
